Artist Statement:

Inspiration comes by many sources; as a landscape architect Iā€™m naturally attracted to the organic shapes, the changing lights and the colors of nature, at the same time the materials, textures, and lines found in architecture always allured me. Spiritual beliefs also contribute to my inspirational work. I want to showcase the energy, the stream of light that radiates and connects all.

Art is a bridge between my inside and the outside world. It is a synthesis of disparate concepts; the western tradition of symmetrical and regular design vs. an eastern influence of asymmetry and irregularity, the juxtaposition of the old and rustic against the new and polished.

I bring serenity to my work through modern materials and organic forms. An ethereal meaning with a fresh execution.
